Note from SPIN volunteers (7 January 2009):
In addition to maintaining this website which is dedicated to helping Stavanger Expats, SPIN for many years has published the Stavanger Information Guide, also known as the SPIN Guide. Unfortunately, in the last few years it has become difficult to maintain volunteers with enough free time to research, update and produce the Guide. It is with great regret that we are no longer able to provide this service. The website will continue to be operational but not actively updated for the remainder of 2009 and will be shut down entirely in 2010. We will no longer be accessing emails as of today.
For an alternative to the SPIN Guide and more information about Stavanger, you may contact www.stavanger-chamber.no. Go to the "New in Rogaland" section.
